The Pittsburgh Playhouse is the performing arts center of Point Park University and its renowned Conservatory of Performing Arts.
The three-theater performing arts center is home to The REP, the professional theatre company and three student companies – Conservatory Theatre Company, Conservatory Dance Company and Playhouse Jr.
The REP seeks to engage Pittsburgh audiences with interesting and provocative theatre, regularly presenting premieres and unique interpretations of classic works.
The acclaimed Conservatory Theatre Company presents plays and musicals, known for their stunning production value and amazing talent. The Conservatory Dance Company presents a mélange of unique and captivating programs that span every genre of dance. Playhouse Jr. is the second oldest continually running children’s theatre in the country, and celebrates its 60th season this year.
The Pittsburgh Playhouse maintains a rigorous performance calendar with eighteen major productions and 235 performances entertaining more than 30,000 patrons annually.
